Hawwa S. Frazier, DO has been practicing medicine for 15 years. Prior to joining Piedmont, Dr. Frazier was in Private Practice.
Dr. Frazier specializes in Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy. Her special interests include health promotion and disease prevention. Dr. Frazier offers treatment for chronic illnesses.
Michael Kevin Sopt, M.D. received his medical degree from the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in 1994. He went on to complete his Family Practice residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Sopt is a Board Certified Family Physician and has been in practice since 1997. He has over 21 years of experience in the management of Acute Care, Adult and Geriatric Medicine, and Family Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice. He grew up in Michigan, and is a graduate of Vanderbilt University.
Dr. Sopt treats patients age 11 and upwards. He has a special interest in geriatrics and chronic disease management.
In his spare time, Dr. Sopt enjoys following his Vanderbilt Commodores, cycling, soccer, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Sopt welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
Ashley Eppinger, FNP, earned her Master’s of Nursing degree from Georgia College & State University. She received her undergraduate degree in Nursing from Georgia College & State University and is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Ashley has been practicing in family practice for 5 years. Prior to joining Piedmont, she was practicing in Internal Medicine.
Ashley specializes in primary care. She treats chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and depression/anxiety, as well as acute illnesses.
In her spare time, Ashley enjoys fitness, travel and spending time with friends and family.
Ashley is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
Fatoumata Kourouma, FNP-BC, earned her medical degree from Columbus State University and completed her residency at Columbus state University. She received her undergraduate degree in Nursing from The Sage Colleges in Troy New York and is board certified in Family Practice. Fatoumata has been practicing medicine for 7 years. Prior to joining Piedmont, she was a Family Nurse Practitioner at a pediatric primary care office.
Fatoumata specializes in primary care. Her special interests include providing direct care to patients for a variety of health needs, treating acute and chronic illnesses for patients during all stages of life.
In her spare time, Fatoumata enjoys traveling, learning about different cultures and spending time with family.
