Ekinadese Aburime MD, MPH is a therapeutic endoscopist with Piedmont Healthcare. He serves as Chair of Gastroenterology for Piedmont Healthcare. In addition, he serves as Director of Advanced Endoscopy at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. A board-certified gastroenterologist, Dr. Aburime specializes in the treatment and management of pancreatobiliary disorders, Barrett's esophagus, gastrointestinal malignancies and large polyps with a special interest in gastrointestinal cancer prevention and cutting-age endoscopic technologies.
Dr. Aburime graduated from Ross University Medical School, Dominica, West Indies. He completed his internal medicine residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center at Long Island College Hospital. He completed his gastrointestinal fellowship training at Metropolitan Hospital/Woodhall Medical Center in New York, New York. He completed additional training in advanced endoscopy at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio (UTHSCSA).
Dr. Aburime holds professional memberships with American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American Gastroenterology Association, American College of Gastroenterology and New York Society for Gastroenterology and Endoscopy.
Greg H. Gibson, M.D., earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester. He then attended Howard University Hospital where he completed his residency and fellowship. He is board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
Dr. Gibson specializes in gastroenterology and has over 35 years of experience. He has extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders related to the esophagus, stomach, small intestines, colon, liver, pancreas and biliary system.
In his spare time, Dr. Gibson enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and attending sporting events. Before private practice, he was an assistant professor of medicine at Morehouse School of Medicine.
Dr. Gibson is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
