Dr. Grace Loy graduated with honors from Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Arts in biology and a minor in psychology. She received her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia (now known as Augusta University) in 1999. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at the Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, Oregon in 2002. Dr. Loy began private practice with Internal Medicine Associates of Rockdale in 2002, serving the patients of Rockdale and surrounding counties. She has maintained her board certification in internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine since 2002.
When not taking care of her patients, Dr. Loy is busy taking care of two active boys as well as enjoying tennis, piano and travel.
She accepts Medicare, Medicaid and most commercial insurance plans.
Dr. Virginia Hyland graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts. She received her medical degree from New York Medical College in 1985. She completed her residency in family medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Hyland began practicing in New York after completing her residency. She began practicing in the Rockdale community in 1992.
Dr. Hyland completed his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of New York in Albany and earned his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York He did his internship at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, Connecticut, an affiliate of Yale University School of Medicine. He then completed his residency in internal medicine at Stamford Hospital, serving as chief resident his final year. He is board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Hyland began his medical practice with Internal Medicine Associates of Rockdale (IMAR) in October 1992. IMAR was established in 1981 and has been serving the Rockdale community since then. Dr. Hyland is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association. He accepts Medicare, Medicaid and most commercial insurance plans.
