Dr. Geetanjali Kumar earned her medical degree at Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College in Ajmer, India. She then completed an anesthesiology residency at Ravindra Nath Tagore Medical College in Udaipur, India. Later, she completed the Family Medicine Residency Program at Midtown Medical Center, Columbus, GA. She is board certified in Family Medicine by the FAAFP and joined Piedmont two years ago.
Dr. Jagdish Shukla was board certified in internal medicine in 1993 in Surat, India at South Gujarat University/Government Medical College and later became board certified in family medicine in 2012 after completing his family medicine residency at Midtown Medical in Columbus, GA. He is the Associate Program Director at the Piedmont Columbus Regional Family Residency program and specializes in family medicine. Dr. Shukla has 14 years of clinical experience as an internist in India and over 6 years of clinical experience in the United States as an internist.
Dr. Marie Trenga, MD, FAAFP earned her medical degree from Brown University in Providence, RI. She then completed her family medicine residency at Highland Hospital/University of Rochester in Rochester, NY. Dr. Trenga completed a faculty development fellowship at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC. She has over 12 years of clinical experience and is an Associate Director with the Family Medicine Residency Program at Piedmont Columbus Regional.
Dr. Vibhuti A. Ansar earned her medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean, School of Medicine, in Sint Maarten, Netherland Antilles. She then completed her family medicine residency at Midtown Medical Center, Columbus, GA. Afterwards, she completed a fellowship in NIPDD I and II at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Ansar has over 12 years of clinical experience. She is board certified in family medicine.
Dr. Milhollin is an ABFM board-certified physician in family medicine and board certified in addiction medicine by the ABPM. Stephen has training in a variety of clinical settings, both inpatient and outpatient, and earned a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) with a concentration in Epidemiology. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), the American College of Academic Addiction Medicine (ACAAM), and the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM).
In his spare time, Stephen enjoys traveling, cooking and spending time outdoors with friends and family.
Dr. Clark Gillett no longer sees patients but continues to be a preceptor part-time for the residents in the Family Medicine Residency Program at Piedmont Columbus Regional in Columbus, GA. He earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, VA. He then completed a family medicine residency at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. Subsequently, he completed a faculty development fellowship at Duke University in Durham, NC.
Dr. Samuel Nwaobi is board-certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine and board-eligible in Addiction Medicine. He was honored as a Ruth Fox Addiction Medicine Scholar and awarded the AAFP Award of Excellence in Graduate Medical Education. Dr. Nwaobi is committed to providing general medical and specialized addiction treatment across all age groups in outpatient and inpatient settings. His clinical and research focus is on full-spectrum medical care, the medical complications of substance use disorders, medical education, and the integration of addiction treatment in new care settings.
Dr. Gregory Foster earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. He then completed his Family Medicine residency at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown in Columbus, GA. Dr. Foster completed a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine and Adult Development at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York, NY. He has over 25 years of experience in family medicine and treats a wide array of patients-- from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Dr. Jennifer Roberts-Woodbury earned her doctorate of osteopathic medicine degree from Lincoln memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, TN. She then completed a 1-year geriatric medicine fellowship at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, AL. Dr. Roberts-Woodbury is board certified in Family Medicine by both the ABFM and the ACOFP. She joined the Piedmont family two years ago.
Dr. Janine Burgher-Jones earned her medical degree at The Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. She then completed her family medicine residency at Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, GA and afterwards completed an additional 1-year fellowship in Family Medicine at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice and has a Certificate of Added Qualification in Addiction Medicine. Dr. Burgher-Jones has almost 30 years of clinical experience.
Dr. John Bucholtz earned his Doctor of Osteopathy from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. He then completed his family medicine residency at Martin Army Community Hospital in Ft. Benning, GA. In addition, he completed a 1-year faculty development fellowship in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC. He is certified in family practice and osteopathic medicine. Dr. Bucholtz is the Director of Medical Education and Program Director of the Piedmont Columbus Regional Family Residency Program and has over 35 years of clinical experience.
