Piedmont Physicians Pediatric Neurology located in Columbus, Georgia, specializes in the evaluation and treatment of neurological, muscular and sleep disorders in children.
Pierre Fequiere is a pediatric Neurologist who is well versed in pediatric neuromuscular disease and also performs nerve conduction studies and EMG for children. He is a board-certified Pediatric Neurologist with over 15 years of professional experience. For the past 9 years, Dr. Fequiere was a Pediatric Neurologist at UAB Children’s of Alabama and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Neurology at UAB. He completed fellowships in Pediatric Neuromuscular and Child Neurology at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and completed a Categorical Pediatrics Residency at Long Island College Hospital in New York. Dr.Fequiere obtained his doctorate from the Universite d’Etat d’Haiti in 1997.
Dr. Fequiere is married and has one son. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and reading.
Tara Smith, N.P., is a board-certified family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She received both her Bachelors and Masters of Science in nursing from Troy University. She obtained her Associates Degree in Nursing from Gordon College. She specializes in pediatric neurology and general pediatric care. Her special interests are in the rehabilitation of the post-concussive, tics/Tourette’s Syndrome and various forms of headache patients. She is challenged in finding the right combination of treatments for the varying forms of epileptic child diseases.
Tara Smith, N.P., enjoys time with her family of two kids, two dogs and her wonderful husband around the house, gardening or swimming.
