Kelly N. Wood MD, FACE received her medical degree from The University of the West Indies and went on to complete her Internal Medicine residency at The Pennsylvania Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Health System. She achieved her fellowship in Endocrinology from University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin.
Dr. Wood has a special interest in osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease. She treats adults with diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis and other hormonal conditions. She holds board certification with The American Board of Internal Medicine and The American Board of Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. She is a member of the Endocrine Society, American Association Clinical of Endocrinologist, and a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology. She has been featured in numerous publications and in her spare time, Dr. Wood enjoys spending time with her family, staying physically active and traveling the world.

Dr. Lohiya earned her medical degree from Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences in Bangalore, India. She completed her residency at Baptist Health System, and a fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Lohiya is board certified in internal medicine, endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. She has publications in reputable endocrine journals such as Clinical Diabetes and Endocrine Practice. Prior to joining Piedmont Atlanta Physicians Group she was Fayette County’s first endocrinologist!
She is a member of the Endocrine Society, American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and the American Diabetes Association.
In her spare time, Dr. Lohiya enjoys playing the violin and reading historical fiction. She has two young children who are her pride and joy!

Dr. Morrissey earned her medical degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland. She went on to complete her internal medicine residency at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine and her fellowship in endocrinology at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. She is a member of the Endocrine Society, American Diabetes Association, and American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.
Dr. Morrissey specializes in the diagnosis and management of adults with disorders of the endocrine system including diabetes, osteoporosis, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, calcium/parathyroid gland disorders as well as other hormonal issues.
In her spare time, Dr. Morrissey enjoys traveling with her husband, boating and spending time with their Boston terrier.
