Dr. Leda Gattoc is a Gynecologic Oncologist at Piedmont Healthcare. She earned her medical degree at New York University in New York City and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Long Island Jewish Hospital in New Hyde Park, NY. After residency, she completed a Pelvic Surgery Fellowship at Emory University where she also obtained her degree in Master of Science in Clinical Research. Dr. Gattoc then went on to complete her fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at Wayne StateUniversity/ Karmanos Cancer Institute in Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. Gattoc is board certified in both Gynecologic Oncology and Obstetrics and Gynecology. She also has a designated practitioner certification in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. She is a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology, American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists and American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. Dr. Gattoc is dedicated to providing high quality, personalized care to women with gynecologic cancers utilizing both surgery and chemotherapy. She has a special interest in pre-invasive diseases, minimally invasive robotic and laparoscopic surgeries and complex benign gynecologic conditions. She is fluent in English, Spanish and Tagalog. Dr. Gattoc is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
Cyril O. Spann, Jr., M.D., joins Piedmont from Emory Healthcare. He is board certified in Gynecologic Oncology and graduated from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. Dr. Spann has over 30 years of experience in gynecology and gynecologic oncology. During his time at Emory, he served as Chief of the Gynecologic Oncology Service at both Emory Midtown and Grady Hospital. Dr. Spann is a member of the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and is a Diplomate for the American Board of Quality Assurance Utilization Review Physicians. Prior to joining Piedmont, Dr. Spann served as president of the Atlanta Medical Association and the Georgia OBGYN Society. Dr. Spann specializes in managing patients with cancer in the female reproductive tract. He has a surgical interest in robot/laparoscopic minimal invasive surgery. In his spare time, Dr. Spann enjoys hiking, bicycling, reading and travel. Dr. Spann welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
Shenika Garner, PA-C, earned her Master of Clinical Medical Science degree from Barry University. She received her undergraduate degree in New Orleans, LA from Xavier University of LA.
Prior to joining Piedmont, PA Garner spent the last 3 years working in private practice OBGYN. She specializes in cancers of female reproductive system and has a passion for women's health and heart for the underserved community.
In her spare time, PA Garner enjoys spending quality time with her family. She enjoys outdoor activities especially those involving the ocean. Shenika Garner is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
