Timothy B. Brown, MD, earned his/her medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine and completed his/her residency at Emory University. He received his undergraduate degree in Medical Technology from Howard University and is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Brown has been practicing medicine for 30 years. Prior to joining Piedmont, Dr. Brown was in Private Practice for 20 years and SouthSide Medical Center for 5 years.
Dr. Brown specializes in High-risk Obstetrics and Robotic Surgery. Dr. Brown has a special interest in Minimally invasive surgery.
In his spare time, Dr. Brown enjoys spending time with his family and travelling. He enjoys exercising at the gym, especially kick boxing.

April earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing. Prior to that, she received her Bachelor’s degree from Liberty University. She is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives. April believes strongly in the philosophy of women-centered care and has over 20 years of experience. April provides full-scope women’s healthcare starting in adolescence continuing beyond menopause with special emphasis on pregnancy and childbirth. In addition to Midwifery, April holds special interests in reducing health disparities in underserved populations, providing evidence-based, equitable, patient centered care while promoting health and wellness.
