Connie DuPre, M.D., FACP, earned her undergraduate and medical degree from Louisiana State University. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the Medical College of Georgia and fellowship in Faculty Development at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. She remained on faculty as an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia in the department of medicine for ten years before going into private practice. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, Dr. DuPre worked in private practice south of Atlanta for more than 16 years. She is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha medical society and attained fellowship status in the American College of Physicians. Her special interests are diabetes and obesity management. In her spare time, Dr. DuPre enjoys spending time with her family as well as gardening.
Dr. Monica Watts is Board Certified in Family Practice. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice. She is a Cum Lauded graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana and completed medical school at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. Dr. Watts previously was an assistant clinical professor with Morehouse School of Medicine and is a member of the American Diabetes Association. She has been practicing primary care for over 10 years.
Sang Ha Shin, MD, earned his medical degree from Seoul National University College of Medicine and completed his residency at Memorial Healthcare System. He is board certified in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Shin has been practicing medicine for 6 years. He has a broad interest in medicine with ongoing interest for genetics, metabolic syndrome, epidemiology and public health.
In his spare time, Dr. Shin enjoys running, hiking, reading, cooking, and coffee making.
Shin is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
Taylor Gonzalez, earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Columbus State University. She received her undergraduate degree in Nursing from University of West Georgia.
Taylor has experience managing acute and chronic illnesses in individuals of all ages. She worked with a preceptor to assess, diagnose, treat, and evaluate patients with a wide range of conditions. Her focus included health maintenance, health promotion, patient education, and providing preventative screening services to patients.
In her spare time, Taylor enjoys spending time with her family and to go to local markets.
