Eric Sceusi, MD., earned his medical degree from UMDNJ - New Jersey Medical School in 2007. He completed his General Surgery residency at The University of Texas - Houston in 2014. During his residency he also completed a two-year NIH funded research fellowship at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. He completed his Thoracic Surgery fellowship at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in 2016 and received his undergraduate degree from Carnegie Mellon University in 2003.
Prior to joining Piedmont Heart, Dr. Sceusi completed his training in thoracic surgery at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Sceusi is board certified in general surgery and is board certified in thoracic surgery.
Dr. Sceusi performs robotic (minimally invasive), thoracic surgical procedures and has expertise in the treatment of lung cancer, esophageal cancer, hiatal hernias and acid reflux disease, mediastinal and chest tumors as well as benign thoracic surgical conditions.
Dr. Sceusi welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
Antonios Sideris, M.D. is a cardiothoracic surgeon who specializes in the treatment of patients with malignancies of the chest, including lung and esophageal cancer, chest wall tumors, mesothelioma, mediastinal and thymic tumors as well as benign chest disorders. He uses minimally invasive techniques including robotic approaches to treat these conditions. In addition to English, he is fluent in Greek and Spanish.
