Nathan Smith, MD, earned his medical degree and completed his residency at Rush Medical College of Rush University. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Illinois State University and is board certified in Family Medicine.
Dr. Smith has been practicing medicine for six years. Prior to joining Piedmont, he was provider at Northeast Georgia Physicians Group Family Medicine. His interests are screening & preventive care and mental health.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, fishing, and playing music.
Evangelos J. Moraitis, MD, earned his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. He completed his internal medicine internship and residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa. Dr. Moraitis is board certified in internal medicine. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians Group, Dr. Moraitis was in practice at the PAPP Clinic. His special interests include diabetes and high blood pressure. Dr. Moraitis is an active member of the American College of Physicians. In his spare time, Dr. Moraitis enjoys painting, biking, tennis and golf. Ebob Ogork, MD, earned her medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine and completed her residency at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Kennesaw State University. Dr. Ogork is board eligible and will be taking her Internal Medicine Board Exam in August 2022. Dr Ogork is passionate about primary care and preventative medicine. Her special interest are Obesity, diabetes and hypertension with particular interest in reducing complications from these conditions.
In her spare time, Dr. Ogork enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. She enjoys cooking, traveling and shopping.

James M. Smith, MD, earned his medical degree and completed his internal medicine residency from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Dr. Smith is board certified is internal medicine and has been serving the Coweta community for over 25 years. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians Group, Dr. Smith was in practice at the PAPP Clinic. His special interests include diabetes, heart disease and hypertension.

Erika Martinez-Uribe, M.D., earned her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Georgia where she was named an Amazing Student. She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed her internal medicine residency with the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
Dr. Martinez-Uribe is board certified in internal medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians. Her special interests include hypertension and diabetes. Dr. Martinez-Uribe is fluent in English and Spanish.
In her spare time, Dr. Martinez-Uribe enjoys cooking diverse cuisine, traveling with family and friends, painting, yoga and collecting succulent plants for her garden.
