Carolyn H. Sigman, M.D., graduated with her bachelor's degree from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She earned her medical degree at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. She then completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Emory University. Following that, she served as chief resident at Emory University Hospital. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, Dr. Sigman was in private practice in Roswell and Alpharetta. With more than twenty years of experience, she is board certified in internal medicine and a member of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Sigman lives in Brookhaven with her husband, Steven Sigman, M.D., and their five children. Dr. Sigman welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
Robert F. Vickers, MD, graduated from the University of Miami where he majored in biology before continuing to Medical School at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of South Alabama in Family Medicine before moving to Atlanta and starting work at Piedmont.
Dr. Vickers specializes in preventative care for all ages, behavioral health, and diabetes.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, hiking, and traveling.

Elizabeth Mathew, M.D., earned her undergraduate degree from Illinois Institute of Technology and her medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School. She completed her family medicine residency at the Tacoma Family Medicine Residency Program in Tacoma, Washington. Dr. Mathew is board certified in family medicine. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, Dr. Mathew worked at the Roosevelt Ruffin Community Health Center in Saginaw, Michigan. She is a member of the American Association of Family Physicians and her special interests include natural family planning, and women's health. In her spare time, Dr. Mathew enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her husband and children.
Chinwendu Korie, D.O., has been practicing medicine for 3 years. She received her undergraduate degree in Nutritional Sciences from Rutgers University and is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Korie specializes in preventive medicine & chronic disease management and has an interest in women’s health.
In her spare time, Dr. Korie enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants and attending concerts.
Dr. Korie welcomes new patients age 16 and up, and accepts most insurance plans.
Young IL Chung, DO, is board certified by the American Osteopathic Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, and American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Chung specializes in wellness visits, annual exams, sick visits, acute conditions, vaccinations and immunizations, and chronic medical conditions like hypertension, diabetes, and HLD.
Dr. Chung is passionate about continuity of care and providing personalized care for patients. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
