Abhinandan Chittal, M.D., is a board-certified internal medicine and pulmonology physician specializing in pulmonary and critical care medicine. He earned his medical degree from K. J. Somaiya Medical College in Mumbai, India, completed his Internal Medicine Residency at MedStar Health in Baltimore, and completed his Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Dr. Chittal treats a variety of pulmonary conditions, including COPD, asthma, interstitial and fibrotic lung disease, chronic cough, shortness of breath, lung nodules and masses, lung cancer, and sleep apnea, including patients who use CPAP. His special clinical interests include interstitial lung disease, difficult-to-manage asthma, eosinophilic lung disease, hypersensitivity pneumonitis, and cardiopulmonary exercise testing.
