Akua Adwubi Kakra Biritwum, MD

Akua Biritwum, M.D. received her medical degree from the University of Ghana Medical School, and went on to complete her internal medicine residency at Piedmont Athens Regional.
Dr. Biritwum treats patients aged 18 years and above, and has a special interest in preventive medicine and management of chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes and obesity.
In her spare time, Dr. Biritwum enjoys reading, playing chess, sketching and volunteering for outreach programs.
Dr. Biritwum welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
