Dr. Alex Collins is a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon who has practiced in the CSRA for almost 20 years with a distinguished career in sports medicine, reconstructive surgery, arthroscopic surgery, general orthopedics, total joint replacement, and fracture treatment. Renowned for his expertise in managing complex conditions such as ACL injuries, rotator cuff repairs, patellar dislocations, shoulder instability and suprascapular reconstructions. Dr. Collins has earned a reputation as the "shoulder expert'and 'knee specialist'for his exceptional skills in addressing these issues. His comprehensive approach extends to treating injuries and conditions of the shoulders, knees, elbows, hips, wrists, hands, and ankles, reflecting his broad and deep knowledge in orthopedic care.

During his fellowship with Wellington Orthopedics and the University of Cincinnati, he gained invaluable experience caring for the Cincinnati Bengals, University of Cincinnati Bearcats, Cincinnati Mighty Ducks, and other professional sports teams in Cincinnati. His dedication to sports medicine extends to our community, where he has served as the team physician for Greenbrier High School, Lynx ECHL hockey, Riverhawks ECHL hockey, Colts Arena Football, and Mavericks Arena Football teams.
