He,Äôs really quick and fast. I never feel rushed. And the fact that he has diabetes is very helpful because he knows what I,Äôm going through and he knows all of the latest technology.

I had a recent visit with my doctor, and it reminded me how rare it is to find a physician you actually enjoy seeing,Äînot just tolerate, not just ,Äúcheck the box,,Äù but genuinely trust and respect. From the moment he walked into the room, the energy was different. He,Äôs young, sharp, engaged, and clearly passionate about what he does. There,Äôs no sense of rushing through the appointment or talking at you. Instead, it feels like a real conversation,Äîtwo people sitting down to talk through health, goals, concerns, and next steps in a way that actually makes sense. What really stands out to me is that he,Äôs also a diabetic himself. That matters. A lot. It,Äôs immediately clear that he,Äôs not just repeating textbook information or generic guidance,Äîhe lives this. He understands the day-to-day realities, the tradeoffs, the frustrations, and the discipline required. When he talks about treatment options, lifestyle adjustments, or long-term planning, it comes from experience, not theory. You can tell he knows exactly what he,Äôs talking about because he,Äôs walked the walk. We,Äôre also similar in age, which creates an added level of comfort and confidence. There,Äôs an unspoken understanding, and honestly, some peace of mind in knowing that this is someone I can see myself working with for a long time. In a world where continuity of care is getting harder and harder to find, that matters more than people realize. I don,Äôt feel like I,Äôm constantly starting over or explaining my history to someone new every few years. The appointment never felt rushed. Questions were encouraged. Explanations were clear and thoughtful. I left feeling informed,Äînot overwhelmed,Äîand confident that I had a plan that actually fit me, not just a generic checklist. Healthcare can feel cold, transactional, and impersonal these days. This visit was the opposite of that. It felt human. It felt collaborative. And most importantly, it felt like I had a doctor who genuinely cares, understands the realities of what he,Äôs treating, and plans to be around for the long haul. That,Äôs not something you come across very often,Äîand when you do, it,Äôs worth calling out.
