Everything about the experience once I got to the facility was excellent. Only feedback is that it was very difficult to get a callback to get an appointment. I called at least three times without a callback. I also didn,Äôt receive my packet with directions until the day before the procedure, after I called to ask if I could eat lunch. So communication could use a little improvement, but the people and process were amazing once I was there.

The procedure went well. The staff was very informative, very friendly and very professional. They put my mind at ease because of the way they went about their duties. The staff also demonstrated a good work environment. Thanks!

This was the best colonoscopy experience I have ever had. The prep was a bit challenging, but probably no worse than others. Everything else was excellent. The staff was warm and eager to make me comfortable. The "stick" in the arm was skilled. Doctor Stewart is very pleasant and took time to fully explain the procedure and to explain what he saw sfyer the procedure. And his office calls to check on you the next day! The anesthetist was also kind and reassuring. I have had other experiences where I was groggier after the sedation, and have experienced acute abdominal pain. I had zero pain when I woke up from this procedure, and I was alert enough to fully understand and remember Dr Stewart's comments after the procedure. One snag: we went to the office where we had seen Dr Stewart for regular office visits in the past. The colonoscopies are done in the same building, but you have to park in a small lot you must enter though a gate on Howell Mill to the right of the building. Look for a small sign stating that this is the place for procedures.
