Christina Escalante, MD is co-owner of Acorn to Oak Health (ATO), a membership-based Pediatric and Internal Medicine practice. ATO is a proud member of the Piedmont Clinic. Dr. Escalante earned her medical degree from NYU School of Medicine and completed residency at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Board-certified in Pediatrics, Dr. Escalante specializes in caring for medically complex children, with expertise in infant care, asthma, ADHD, adolescent health, and autism. Prior to ATO, she worked in both Primary Care and Emergency Department settings.
Dr. Escalante believes in personalized care, viewing her role as supporting families in raising healthy, safe, and resilient children. She was inducted into the Gold Humanism Society, recognizing her commitment to compassionate care and human connection in healthcare.
Outside of work, Dr. Escalante enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters; swimming, cooking, and hosting. She values community connections and enjoys engaging with friends and neighbors.
Dr. Escalante is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans, medicaid is not accepted at this time.
