Cullen Morris earned his medical degree from Emory University in 1996. He completed his general surgery residency and cardiothoracic fellowship at Emory as well, finishing in 2006. Dr. Morris remained at Emory as a faculty member until joining Piedmont Healthcare and Piedmont Heart Institute in March 2017. This open heart operation I had (performed by Dr. Morris) was rather significant for me. He explained the procedure clearly prior to the operation and assured me at the follow up meeting that my recovery is going well!
