Dr. Devica Alappan earned her medical degree from The University of the West Indies, Kingston, Jamaica. She completed her internship/residency at Yale University School of Medicine & Waterbury Hospital Dept of Pediatrics at which she also served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Devica Alappan has been practicing Pediatrics for more than 20 years. She has been an independent Pediatrician in Columbus, GA for 19 years. Prior to this she has worked in Connecticut and the UK.

She has received the READERS` CHOICE award for the Most Favorite Pediatrician: 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019.
