Frances Speight Long, MD

Fran Long M.D., formerly Fran McLeod, earned her medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon Georgia and completed her internship and residency at Atlanta Medical Center. She has been an active member of the Piedmont Hospital Medical staff since 2006. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians Group in 2010, Dr. Long was in private practice at Buckhead Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of physicians. Dr. Long is board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Long resides in Sandy Springs. In her free time she enjoys gardening, running, travel and reading. Dr. Long encourages patients to be active in their healthcare decisions and believes in a strong rapport between patient and physician. She welcomes new patients and accepts most major insurance plans.
