Gregory Sfakianos, MD is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and has been practicing in Columbus, GA since 2012. Whenever possible, Dr. Sfakianos uses minimally invasive techniques to treat women with gynecological cancers, reducing blood loss, decreasing pain, and speeding recovery. He is the first gynecologic oncologist in the Chattahoochee Valley to be trained in robotic surgical techniques. When necessary a more radical approach is taken that involves extensive debulking of cancer and reconstruction of pelvic organs and structures, including the intestines, urinary system, and lymph nodes.
