Heather Grafton is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in rheumatology, with a diverse clinical background that includes primary care, urgent care, women's health, neurology, and hematology/oncology. Her broad experience allows her to approach autoimmune and inflammatory conditions with a comprehensive, whole-patient perspective.
In addition to her clinical work, she has served as a Clinical and Simulation Instructor at Georgia Baptist College of Nursing at Mercer University and the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University, where she mentored and trained future nurses in both academic and hands-on clinical settings.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degrees from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing at Mercer University. Prior to her nursing career, she received her Bachelor's degree in Education from Florida State University, a foundation that continues to shape her patient-centered teaching and communication style.
Outside of the clinic, she is a proud mother of two, a son in high school who plays baseball and a daughter in middle school who plays softball. She is an avid sports enthusiast and passionate supporter of the FSU Seminoles, Buffalo Bills, Atlanta Braves, and Phoenix Suns.
