Indu Voruganti is an experienced radiation oncologist, specializing in advanced radiotherapy and radiosurgery for patients with a variety of malignancies. She completed residency at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto, serving as Associate Chief Resident, followed by an advanced fellowship in CNS radiotherapy at Stanford. She is board-certified from Canada (FRCPC) and previously practiced with Kaiser Permanente in California.
Dr. Voruganti earned her undergraduate, medical, and graduate degrees from Brown University and Columbia University. She is experienced in treating a variety of tumors, with expertise in brain, spine, breast, and lung malignancies.
She is an active investigator at Piedmont for cooperative clinical trials including NRG Oncology and RTOG Foundation. She is leading Piedmont as the first enrolling site in the US for NRG MOMENTUM-1 investigating recurrent meningioma lutetium therapy. She is involved in Piedmont's GammaKnife, GammaTile®, and radiopharmaceutical programs, and serves on the Brain Tumor and Oncology Research Committees. She is a member of ASTRO, ASCO, Society for Neuro-Oncology, and International Society for the Study of Lung Cancer.
