Jane Kim, DO, is a fellowship-trained general surgeon who completed a fellowship in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery at NYU Langone Long Island Hospital. She earned her medical degree from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine-Middletown and completed her general surgery residency at Hackensack Meridian Health-Palisades. Before pursuing medicine, Dr. Kim earned bachelor's and master's degrees in chemical engineering from The Cooper Union and worked as a process engineer at an oil refinery in Hawaii.

Dr. Kim specializes in general surgery, treating gallbladder disease, appendicitis, diverticulitis, bowel obstructions, abdominal wall and hiatal hernias, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and bariatric surgery. She has a special interest in robotic-assisted and minimally invasive techniques.

In her free time, Dr. Kim enjoys drawing, trying new recipes, and spending time with her family and dog.
