Jon M. McGough, M.D. is board certified in internal medicine. A Georgia native, he attended the University of Georgia and the Medical College of Georgia before completing his residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.

He is passionate about helping patients maintain good health through optimizing their diets, exercise routines, and sleeping habits while placing strong emphasis on preventive care, age-appropriate vaccination, and thoughtful use of evidence based medical tests.

Good doctor he listens and suggest things he doesn't push things on you like some doctors do ..he cares about his patients and takes the time to figure out the best medicines and best care for the issues at hand

The only thing I did not like was how long I had to wait in the exam room to get the first set of rabies post exposure shots. I arrived in the ER at just after 12 and it was 230 before I got the shots. I live 45 miles away in Lavonia so I needed to get back home and go to work it seemed that the ER was very short staffed with just one nurse. It was 4 o,Äôclock before I got home. And since there weren,Äôt that many people in the ER on Friday to begin with I don,Äôt know why it took so long to get the first set of shots.
