Dr. Asher received her medical degree from Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York. She completed her internship and residency at New York University Medical Center. Dr. Asher is board certified in internal medicine. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, Dr. Asher was director of employee health services for Prudential Insurance Company in New Jersey. In 1999, Dr. Asher returned to her hometown to serve her community as an independent contract physician. She has been practicing with Piedmont Physicians since 2001. Dr. Asher welcomes new patients and accepts most major insurance plans.
