Kayla Perry-Walker, MD

Dr. Kayla Perry-Walker ("Dr. Perry") is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist at the Fayetteville and Stockbridge locations of Southern Crescent Women's Healthcare. Dr. Perry is from Danielsville, Georgia and earned undergraduate and masters degrees from Georgia Southern University. She attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia's UGA Partnership campus in Athens, Georgia where her graduating class selected her as their one physician classmate they would be most likely to seek out to care for themselves or their loved ones, known as the "Physician's Physician Award." She completed OB/GYN residency at the University of Pennsylvania's prestigious Pennsylvania Hospital, where she received extensive training in management and delivery of high and low risk pregnancies at the busiest maternity care center in Philadelphia.

Dr. Perry is passionate about helping women plan their families and stay in control of their reproductive lives. She is an expert in all forms of contraception from natural family planning to medications, devices and surgical sterilization, but also greatly enjoys helping women who are struggling with infertility prepare for and achieve a healthy pregnancy. She has a special interest in the long term management of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and all of its complications including infertility, menstrual irregularities, weight and metabolic changes, acne and abnormal hair growth. Dr. Perry sees patients of all ages from preteens and teens navigating difficult menstrual cycles to mature women dealing with the symptoms of menopause and beyond.

As a surgeon, Dr. Perry is dedicated to performing surgeries in the most minimally invasive manner that can be safely achieved for each patient. She offers all routes of hysterectomy including vaginal hysterectomy and robotic-assisted hysterectomy with the DaVinci Robotic System as well as minimally invasive approaches to surgeries for fibroids, ovarian cysts, tubal sterilization and more.

Outside of work, Dr. Perry is an animal and nature enthusiast who loves horseback riding, kayaking, swimming and yoga. She lives in Fayetteville with her husband and a variety of pets.
