Melanie Lacy is very smart, kind, and I had a great visit. When I felt bad, she was compassionate and followed up with me after I got home. She wanted to understand what was wrong instead of just throwing a diagnostic out there. I believe she went out of the way to give me care above what you would think that you should get, but never do.

I had a bad experience with a first visit to a physician last year (called me the wrong name, didn't really seem interested in anything that I said, etc.) but my visit with Dr Lacy was the total opposite. it's always nerve wracking seeing a physician for the first time but she made it comfortable and after about 5 minutes it felt like we had been seeing each other for years. I genuinely feel like this is going to be a long relationship and I am excited for that

Honestly I was a little gun-shy due to last time I was there and had my physical. Lisa was my dr and we discussed several things during her time with me; at the end I had a bill for several hundreds of dollars. Therefore, I was very hesitant to ask Melanie much of anything. Interesting enough when I checked out this time, I have a $295 credit!

Melanie Lacy, NP is absolutely awesome. I LOVE her! She listens to me, she explains things so very clearly to then non-medical person. She provides recommendations. She even holds me accountable to the decisions we made but did it in such a way that it driven by genuine concern. She is one of the best communicators ever.
Doctor was very kind and helpful... and also pretty sterile, just didn't feel she was overly concerned about me. I kind of felt like a number. I never go to the doctor. I was really hoping to hear about more options/solutions, but maybe it's just that there aren't any. The visit was fine, just felt like the nurse cared more about me than the doctor. Thankful for her kindness.
I love Melanie. I moved farther away from the office and travel to see her. She takes me seriously and has never made me feel like I need to push for care, which is an issue I have had with many other doctors. I have two conditions that doctors don't always know about or take seriously and Melanie has always been helpful and respectful.
