Puja Shaurin Mehta, MD

Puja Mehta, MD, earned her medical degree from the American University of Antigua, and completed her residency at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center in Marietta, GA. She received her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from KMC International Center and is board certified in Family Medicine. Prior to joining Piedmont, Dr. Mehta was a resident physician at Kennestone Hospital. Prior to residency, she was working in Endocrine research at the Jesse Brown VA in Chicago, IL. Dr. Mehta has a special interest in women's health, preventive medicine, and integrative medicine with a holistic approach to complement traditional western medicine.
In her spare time, Dr. Mehta enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys painting and art, traveling, Harry Potter, hiking, exploring restaurants, and living with a positive approach.
Dr. Mehta is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
