Radu Zamfir, DO earned his medical degree from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at UNC Health Southeastern. He received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and History from SUNY Stony Brook and is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Zamfir has been practicing medicine for 4 years.
Prior to joining Piedmont, Dr. Zamfir was completing his fellowship in hospice/palliative care. Dr. Zamfir specializes in hospice and palliative medicine. His special interests include patient care, improving quality of life for his patients and their families.
