Saad Farooq, M.D., specializes in pulmonary & critical care and interventional pulmonology. He earned his medical degree from Aga Khan University, completed residency at MedStar Georgetown Washington Hospital Center, and completed his Pulmonary & Critical Care Fellowship at the University of Texas McGovern Medical School. He also completed an Interventional Pulmonary Fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Dr. Farooq treats a variety of pulmonary and critical care conditions, including lung nodules and masses, pleural effusions, central airway obstruction, hemoptysis, pneumothorax, mediastinal and hilar lymphadenopathy, asthma, and COPD. His special clinical interests include early detection and diagnosis of lung cancer, robotic bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound, teaching, and performing procedures.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, traveling, and hiking.
