Sallie McSwain was born at Piedmont Hospital and grew up in Atlanta where she attended The Westminster Schools. She then went to the University of Richmond where she earned a B.S. in Biology with honors and graduated summa cum laude.
She completed medical school at the Medical College of GA and then completed her OB/GYN residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.
Sallie is thrilled to be back in Atlanta and to be practicing at Peachtree Women's Specialists, where her mother, Dr. Helen McSwain was in practice for over 25 years. She enjoys all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology but especially high risk obstetrics and minimally invasive surgery.
Outside of work, Sallie loves horseback riding, cooking and being with her husband Nick, son Sam, and their two wonderful dogs.

Dr McSwain is the best medical provider I've ever seen. She has been so helpful to me throughout my pregnancy and would absolutely recommend her to anyone. She is so kind and always shows how much she cares.

Dr. McSwain was wonderful, very thorough and so kind. At the beginning I was disappointed with the delay in my appointment start time but after speaking with her I'm happy to wait for the quality Dr she is.
