Sallie McSwain was born at Piedmont Hospital and grew up in Atlanta where she attended The Westminster Schools. She then went to the University of Richmond where she earned a B.S. in Biology with honors and graduated summa cum laude.
She completed medical school at the Medical College of GA and then completed her OB/GYN residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.
Sallie is thrilled to be back in Atlanta and to be practicing at Peachtree Women's Specialists, where her mother, Dr. Helen McSwain was in practice for over 25 years. She enjoys all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology but especially high risk obstetrics and minimally invasive surgery.
Outside of work, Sallie loves horseback riding, cooking and being with her husband Nick, son Sam, and their two wonderful dogs.

I had my baby at Piedmont Atlanta and had an amazing experience. The facilities were goid and every single person on the care team ,Äî nurses, doctors, support staff ,Äî was warm, gentle, and attentive from admission through discharge. I felt genuinely cared for during one of the most important moments of my life.

The best provider I've had. Always listens to concerns, addresses every single one. Never left guessing the plan of care.

She listens attentively. I never feel rushed. Dr. Mcswain always explains things so I fully understand my options when it comes to treatment, for menopause.

Dr McSwain continues to be the best doctor I've ever received care from. She is kind, knowledgeable, empathetic, and goes above and beyond to care for her patients. Cannot recommend her enough!
