Sallie McSwain was born at Piedmont Hospital and grew up in Atlanta where she attended The Westminster Schools. She then went to the University of Richmond where she earned a B.S. in Biology with honors and graduated summa cum laude.
She completed medical school at the Medical College of GA and then completed her OB/GYN residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.
Sallie is thrilled to be back in Atlanta and to be practicing at Peachtree Women's Specialists, where her mother, Dr. Helen McSwain was in practice for over 25 years. She enjoys all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology but especially high risk obstetrics and minimally invasive surgery.
Outside of work, Sallie loves horseback riding, cooking and being with her husband Nick, son Sam, and their two wonderful dogs.

She listens attentively. I never feel rushed. Dr. Mcswain always explains things so I fully understand my options when it comes to treatment, for menopause.

She is a wonderful doctor very patient explained everything very thoroughly and has a lot of compassion. I highly recommend her. LOL

Dr McSwain continues to be the best doctor I've ever received care from. She is kind, knowledgeable, empathetic, and goes above and beyond to care for her patients. Cannot recommend her enough!

Dr. McSwain presented many options and all the information necessary to make an informed decision. I feel that she has my best interest at heart and wants the best for my health as her patient.

Our experiences with Dr. McSwain have been phenomenal. She is far and above our favorite physician (for any practice / medical discipline) for her bedside manner, fact / data based responses, and willingness for open discussions.
