From there, she moved on to Emory University to complete her Bachelors and Masters of Science in Nursing. After graduation, she became licensed as both a Certified Nurse Midwife and a Family Nurse Practitioner. Shana has practiced in Toccoa, Gainesville and Athens GA and returned to practice with Piedmont Midwifery in Athens in 2025.
