Dr Ugochi Gucci Ezeala, MD, MPH, is a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive, and patient-centered care to individuals and families throughout every stage of life.

Born in London and raised in Nigeria, Dr. Ezeala brings a diverse background and a deeply personal approach to medicine. She attended Rutgers University and the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences. She later earned both her Master of Public Health and Doctor of Medicine from St. George's University School of Medicine and completed her Family Medicine residency training at Hackensack UMC Mountainside Hospital.

Dr. Ezeala has a broad range of clinical interests, with a particular passion for women's health, preventive medicine, obesity and weight management, mental health, prenatal wellness, and newborn and pediatric care. She also has extensive experience managing chronic medical conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, thyroid disorders, and cardiovascular disease.

Her approach to medicine emphasizes prevention, early diagnosis, education, and developing meaningful relationships with her patients. Dr. Ezeala believes that exceptional healthcare begins with listening. She strives to ensure that every patient feels heard, respected, and actively involved in decisions about their health.

Dr. Ezeala is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), the American Medical Association (AMA), and the American Public Health Association (APHA).

Outside of medicine, Dr. Ezeala enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and volunteering at charitable events. She also has a passion for fashion, fashion design, and photography.
