Yusef Ali Syed, MD

Dr. Yusef Syed is a highly experienced board-certified Piedmont Oncology radiation oncologist providing outstanding patient care within Piedmont Healthcare. He completed his radiation oncology residency at Emory University and practiced in Tallahassee, FL prior to joining Piedmont.

His undergraduate, graduate, and medical degrees are from Yale University, Cornell University, and SUNY Buffalo. Dr. Syed is experienced in the care of patients with any cancer and has special expertise in the care of patients with lung, genitourinary, or head and neck cancers.

In his spare time, Dr. Syed enjoys venturing outdoors with his wife and two daughters, cycling, and occasionally meandering through archeological ruins.

Dr. Syed is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
