Cindy Laing, DO, earned her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine GA campus and completed her residency in Family Medicine at Piedmont Columbus Regional. She received her undergraduate degree and master's degree in Chemistry and Biomedical Sciences, respectively, from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL. Dr. Laing is a member of the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Laing has been practicing medicine for 3 years. She is a recent graduate from Piedmont Columbus Regional Family Medicine Residency. She practices full spectrum Family Medicine from managing chronic medical conditions to women's health and pediatrics. She has a special interest in women's health and preventive medicine.
In her spare time, Dr. Laing enjoys spending time with her husband and children. She enjoys traveling and reading.
Dr. Laing is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
Elisha Poynter, M.D. received her medical degree from Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, which is where she also completed her residency. From 2013 to 2016, Dr. Poynter worked in Walton County as a family medicine physician, and then went on to become a hospitalist at several hospitals throughout Georgia. She has since returned to Walton County to join Piedmont Physicians of Monroe.
Dr. Poynter sees patients of all ages. She has a special interest in weight loss management.
Dr. Poynter welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
Sarah specializes in family medicine and has served the Walton County community through urgent care for two years. She has worked in both pediatric practices as well as adult internal medicine practices and treats patients of all ages, from newborn to geriatrics.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys riding horses, going to the ballet and theater, and playing with the animals on her farm.
