John B. Amos Cancer Center

The Piedmont Columbus Regional John B. Amos Cancer Center is the only oncology center in the Columbus, Georgia region to offer a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary program accredited by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons. It is the only cancer treatment center with this designation in the 14-county service area around Columbus.

All oncology doctors at our cancer treatment center are board-certified in their fields. They provide cancer care and lead a team of dedicated professionals who guide patients through cancer treatment. This team may include additional cancer specialists, clinical researchers, case manager associates, clinical counselors, pharmacists, radiation physicists and therapists, oncology- and chemotherapy-certified nurses and registered dietitians.

For newly diagnosed cancer patients, we offer next-day appointments so our oncology staff can get you started on a treatment plan.

The John B. Amos Cancer Center offers a variety of free support services programs for oncology patients. Some of the free programs include art therapy, smoking cessation, massage therapy, nutrition counseling as well as a variety of support groups for patients and caregivers.
