Wendell Smith, M.D., attended the Medical College of Georgia where he earned his medical degree and completed his residency. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Smith specializes in family medicine and has more than 30 years of experience as a primary care physician. He offers comprehensive preventive care as well as the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases such as diabetes, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, COPD, thyroid disease, heart disease and arthritis. In his spare time, Dr. Smith enjoys cooking on his big green egg, gardening, fishing, listening to audio books, working at church and spending time with his grandchildren.
Matthew Mote, D.O., earned his medical degree at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He then completed his residency at the Martin Army Community Hospital in Fort Benning, Georgia. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Mote specializes in family medicine and provides comprehensive preventative care for ages 12 and up. He offers both sports and school physicals as well as Medicare wellness visits and well child visits. He also manages acute and chronic medical conditions such as type II diabetes, hypertension and COPD. His special interests include minor musculoskeletal and sports injuries and minor office procedures.
In his spare time, Dr. Mote enjoys playing golf, hiking, biking and traveling with his wife and children.
Donna Groover, M.D., received her medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia. She then completed her residency at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Groover specializes in family medicine and has over 20 years of experience as a primary care physician. She offers annual and sports physicals and treats all acute and chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart and lung complaints. She also offers treatment for minor sports injuries, as well as colds and flu. Dr. Groover has four children and enjoys spending time in the outdoors with her family. She is a member of both the American Academy of Family Practice and the Georgia Academy of Family Practice.
