Dan Sun, MD

Dr. Sun earned his medical degree from Hunan Medical University in China and completed his Internal Medicine residency at University of Massachusetts Medical Center, Worcester, MA. He completed his fellowship in Cardiology at Mid America Heart Institute/University of Missouri Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri. He is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease.
Dr. Sun has been practicing medicine/cardiology for 20 years. Prior to joining Piedmont, Dr. Sun was a medical staff member at Division of Cardiology, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and attending cardiologist at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Sun specializes in cardiovascular diseases prevention and treatment. Dr. Sun has special interests in congestive heart failure, and cardiac imaging.
In his spare time, Dr. Sun enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He enjoys hiking, gardening, international cuisines, and opera. Dr. Sun is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
