David Poynter, M.D. received his medical degree from Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, which is where he also completed his internship and residency. Dr. Poynter went on to complete a sports medicine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. He is board certified in family medicine and sports medicine and has been practicing in Walton County since 2013.
