Gabriel Martin Pajares Hurtado, MD Cardiology in Atlanta, GA

Gabriel Pajares Hurtado, MD grew up in Gwinnett County prior to completing his undergraduate studies at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia (Augusta University-University of Georgia Medical Partnership in Athens, GA) and completed his intern year and residency in internal medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA.

He happily served as Chief Medical Resident for the internal medicine program prior to completing his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He is board-certified in internal medicine and in cardiovascular disease.

His clinical interests include preventative medicine, coronary artery disease, pericardial disease, valvular disease, and cardiovascular imaging.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, running, cooking, and being an active member of his church community.

Dr. Pajares welcomes new patients and accepts most major insurance plans.
