Jewel Sawyer, PA-C, received her Master of Science in Health Science from Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences and her Doctoral degree from the University of Lynchburg. She is board certified by the American Academy of Physician Associates. She is a certified HIV Specialist by the American Academy of HIV Medicine as well as certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

She has been practicing medicine for 15 years, and her special interests include HIV prevention/treatment, gender affirming care, and sexual health/wellness. In her spare time, Jewel enjoys traveling, powerlifting and spending time with her family.

She is passionate about the intersectionality of compassionate, inclusive healthcare, social determinants and health equity.
